I need a simple program that will seperate an mepg from it';s audio so I can have just the silent mpeg by itself.

    Any thoughts?

This is for a windows based operating system.

    Thanks,

    Yancey

TMPGenc has some MPEG tools -- it will let you do a de-multiplex (creating separate Video and Audio streams).

The version I use is 2.5 (not sure if it's in the recent version).

Thank you, George, but it changes the file to m2v and I want to keep it an mpeg.

    Any other thoughts?

m2v is mpeg video. The confusing part is that mpeg is both a codec and a container.
