    what is the best dvd player out?

    im looking for a dvdplayer that plays mp3/vcd/svcd/PAL/NTSC

    i bought a dvd player last month and it craped out on me i dont want it to happen again

    the pioneer dv-270(dv-271, dv-275) is a great dvd player. its multisystem, will play mp3 on cd/dvd, x-s/vcd, and pretty much anything else.. as far as a player goes, the only thing it is missing is divx/xvid support.

    I just bought a LG DVB418 and it does DivX/XviD, MP3, VCD/SVCD/, MPEGISO, JPG, etc.

    It doesn't do DVD-MP3, unfortunately.

    As jimmalenko pointed out you can search on the features you desire.
