I currently have Tivo, which is the greatest thing invented, but it can only record one show at a time. So I'm thinking of getting a standalone recorder to hook up to my bedroom tv for same time shows.
Specs:
Burns to +r/+rw
Tv Guide type feature
Good quality at 3-4 hours
Not to expensive (less than $200 if possible.)

The new Panasonics with HD can do all that.
There are other manf's with no hd that can do most of that, try researching at:
