my xbox has been messing up and I was wondering if anybody knows the code to reformat to factory default. Calling xbox support wouldn't provide me with the code but I know they exist and they seem to be specific for each xbox. I know it has something to do with buttons being entered on the system info screen. If anybody has any clue that would be great.

No chip. I've tried the code on the link provided before and tried the script but they wouldn't go for it. I will try again but I don't think it will work this time if it didn't work last time. Sorry for posting on this forum but wasn't sure where else to post. If anyone else has any more info that would be great. Thanks....

if you dont have a modded xbox and you didnt backup your orignal drive this is the ony way that you can do it that I know of without modding it

or
you softmod it and then use a slayers disk
Before you do this you must backup your eeprom also so you can stick another drive in if necessary
Define messing up?
i know a good repair person if you need one
