I've been trying to convert a VOB to an MPEG which I can load into my ClicktoDVD program on my Sony Vaio and make into a DVD. The clip length is roughly a minute long.

I followed the instructions to a T. I can do exactly what I want with DVD's I burned myself from my own downlods. So I know I'm following the instructions ok.

Here's what I do - I Make a VOB from DVDDecrypter. Import the VOB into VideoReDo. Convert that to an MPEG. But this MPEG won't load into the DVD making program called ClicktoDVD. Not like the others do.

If I download a tv show and turn it into an mpeg using VideoReDo, it will import into ClicktoDVD, no problem and I can make my DVD.

Am I missing a step somewhere?

Please let me know if anyone else has had this problem.

    Thanks!

  2. Perhaps you could try another tool for your converting.
In the tool section look under 'Tool Features' and select 'VOB to MPG', it will list the tools that can convert vobs to mpeg's - give TMPGenc a try - its freeware.
This may allow you to import your mpeg's.

Probably because of ac3 audio. You must then convert to mpeg audio.

but why not try some other tool than clicktodvd....like tmpgenc dvd author!!
