dvd slideshow authoring problem

Hi everyone!

i tried to make a slideshow for my sister with the pics she taken on her holidays.
i have used a couple of slideshow programs but the same thing keeps happening.

i load the pics, insert only transition effects and mp3 background music
save it as dvd, then i make a menu for it using dvd lab pro and burn.

on my pc the final result plays nicelly but on my dvd player it hangs while theres a transition between pics.

ive tried to save it as svcd or only add background music using dvd lab but the same thing keeps happening

any idea whats causing this?

try using tmpge dvd author.

Hi budz, thanks for your reply.

unfortunally i cant use tmpg dvd as its a big download (13 meg) and im on dialup and as you imagine it comes out very expensive for me as i have to pay for the time online by the minute.

i have used proshow and memtotv because it came along with the pc magazine i buy every month.

dvd lab pro never failed me(except this time), why your sugestion of tmpgdvd?
