  1. Can anybody please help me? I'm at my wit's end. A while ago I downloaded a dvd (nothing illegal or officially released) and when it came to burning in nero, there was a file reallocation error. Since then I must have tried 20 different ways and programs, including joining the files together to make one large file, however nero can then only burn this in udf mode which then doesnt work. I've tried using vobedit/ifoedit, DVDShrink, DVD Decrypter and a whole host of different programs to no avail. Finally, I discovered DVDLab pro and this shows promise. However, the dvd had the menus built in and I would like to use the original menues, however I don't know how or where to find them to link them to the video. This has been so frustrating as I must have produced abut 15 coasters so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I haven't ran into that problem yet, but here are a couple of threads that discuss it:

#1 stop making coasters, practice on +/-rw.
#2 have you tried "get vts sectors" in ifoedit?
#3 perhaps take a look at dvdremake pro
#4 as edDV says original files may be corrupt

best of luck with your project.

  5. Hey guys, thanks for the tips. I tried getting the VTS sectors in ifoedit, but that didn't work. I'm gonna try DVDRemake pro, but i'm fast running out of programs that I haven't already tried. Im alwys open to anyother suggestions, if anyone has any. Thanks

  6. When you try to use dvd/movie in Nero it checks for the file structure. If one of the files are zero size and don't copy it will give you that error but it will still play. As someone mentioned could burn it to RW and test it or just double click vts0_ifo see if it starts then the copy will also work. You can use iso/udf option too but you have to create VIDEO_TS folder (in capital caps) then burn.

  7. I ran into this problem myself the other day. It was the first time I've used Nero to burn a DVD. I also am still using Nero 5.5 because it came with my burner.

What I did to fix the problem was not drag my Audio_TS folder over. I don't know if that was what was causing the error message, but I didn't receive it when I just used the Audio_TS folder that Nero put there automatically. I also didn't have any playback problems with the DVD on a standalone player.

    Mythos
