I'm creating a simple VCD from an .avi file using the presets for SVCDmpeg2enc but the final result outputs the letterbox video off-centered vertically. The top is right at the top edge of the screen and there's one huge black bar along the bottom, basically shifting the whole video up to the edge. I have had this happen once before but i don't know if a setting is off or if it's in the .avi file. And if it is the .avi file - is there a way to fix that?? They look fine playing through Quicktime and VLC but not on the dvd player. I appreciate the help!

Was the VCD encoded at standard resolution? Please note that a VCD is not a SVCD. You should email me to major4@mac.com with more details, like your process output (blue "i" icon) or your encoded file properties.
