  1. ive tried converting a movie into dvd format using VSO divxtodvd (coz its quick and very easy) but the problem im having is that the picture is coming out as a square in the middle of the screen, regardless of what resolution i set it as. does anyone know how to fix this or another simple program that can do it. it only happens with MPG movies.

    many thanx

I have the same problem, w/ MPG only. I think it is how the program is set up. My only solution was to use the zoom feature on my standalone or change to WINAVI.

BTW do you have a problem w/ VSO only giving you .VOB's and nothing else as the output??

My only solution was to change programs....

"the video pin can not be connected"

The advanced X is ungodly SSSSLLLLOOOWWW, at least that was my expierence.

What about CUCUsoft AVI to DVD? It will do .MPG, free trial, and lifetime updates? I tried it but my computer is too weak for this to turn out a conversion in a reasonable time.
