    O.K.,

I have a sucessful ratio of 1 to 4. I have some Avi movies that I am converting using Avi2DVD. The very first time I tried, I suceeded, and have yet to again. I have followed the instructions to the "T", and tried different settings and to no luck.
My problem is a "Jump" or "Jerky" picture, if you will. Clarity is great, and also sound. The only difference between the one that worked fine and the jumpy ones, is that when I load Avi, the aspect ratio automatically selected 4/3 on the one that was great. The other 3 jumpy movies, 16/9 was automatically selected. Ihave tried changing it to 4/3 on the input or leaving it alone and changing to 4/3 on the output. No luck, same problem.
I've read and read and read and followed the avi2dvd instructions over again. What am I overlooking?
I've opened the converted files and compared the bad to the good with avicodec, and I don't see a difference in anything. Really don't knkow much about what I am looking at anyway at this stage in the game.
    Thanks,
    Eager Newbie

This is just one of the vob files from the "Jumpy" movie.

    what is the source properties?

And try some other all-in-one tool like thefilmmachine, divxtodvd, diko or dvd2svcd. avi2dvd is still kinda buggy.
