Reauthor the DVD.

Well, Take an authoring app like TMPGEnc DVD Author. Import DVD Video. Select menu style and options. Burn a new DVD.
But in all honesty - that procedure somehow goes against all that DVD recorders is all about - a simple tool for recording and creating DVDs. You'd be better off with a computer capture card if you want anything else.
However, the question is so common, the answer is a sticky: Read here.

You want the Pioneer to create another kind of menu? Or what do you want the DVD to show when you press "Menu" on the player? I doubt it's possible to change this, if someone haven't made a serious firmware hack for it...
Or am I misunderstanding you completely?

The pioneer 520h has a menu recorded onto it when finalizind a dvd-r, i do not want/like the menu.

So - again - reauthor the DVD. That's the only way. It might be possible to turn off the menu completely (see your users manual), but (without any other evidence than my gut feeling - maybe some other 520h owner can pitch in?) I seriously suspect even that is not possible. And what good is a multi title DVD without menu?
