Hi everyone,
If i have a collection of file types bin/cue and mpeg can i author them with menus before i burn to a 4.7Gb DVD as VCD so my standalone dvd player will read and play them?
Any advice or suggestions as to what software i could use would be very gratefully received.
regards

make a dvd instead with tmpgenc dvd author or svcd2dvd or dvd-lab.

Thanks for that.
Ive used tmpgenc dvd author before but did not know if you could mix file types.I assume that you browse to select your file and then add etc etc etc etc and then burn as DVD ? -
You can mix different mpgs on a dvd on separate tracks as long as they are dvd compliant,720(704)x480/576 352x480/576 352x240/288 are all dvd compliant resolutions.
I think,therefore i am a hamster. -
If you are working with MPEG-1 video, there are some bit rate limits with it for DVD. You can't go above something like 1500 Kbps. Please also note some DVD authoring programs incorrectly reject MPEG-1 video as not being valid for DVD. Scenarist and DVD-Lab will let you use MPEG-1 video. TMPGenc DVD Author probably will too.
