    Hi

I am capturing with USB Instant DVD from VHS tape for SVCD burning and the video is out of synchronization woth the sound. Any ideas? The video comes first and then the sound. Video and audion quality is good.

  2. Do you have the latest CapWiz program? If not, get it from the ADS website. It will allow you to adjust the audio/video timing.

I, too, have been getting inconsistent results with audio sync when capturing from VHS videotapes...it can be right on, a little off, or very off (always audio first, then video).

I have updated all the software and drivers from ADS.

My system is an HP Pavilion PC, 800 MHz Pentium III, 1280 Mb RAM, 45 GB HD, Windows Me.

Although I'm sure that suggested procedure for fixing sync with TMPGEnc and GoldWave works, I would like to be able to capture in-sync from the outset. Any suggestions?

    Thanks, Bruce

  6. I'm also in same boat using the ADS USB, Instant DVD.

I'm also getting video and sound out of sync.

I havent tried the Ulead software bundled with the device, from what i seen, its a very striped down version of whats available for demo at Ulead.com. Tonight if i get time i will re-test using the Instant DVD device and see if i get things in a bit more sync.
