  1. I have a single layer DVD with a movie on it that was filmed in widescreen, yet the aspect ratio on the dvd is fullscreen. The people on the movie look stretched out, so I think all I need to do is get the movie back into widescreen, and then re-burn it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or offer some advice?

    Thanks!

I can provide any other info that would be needed to answer any questions

I used this program to change the aspect ratio back to widescreen, and it plays fine on my pc, but when I play the dvd in any stand alone dvd player on a tv, it still shows the movie in full screen. Any thoughts?

    Thanks

  7. I am using Nero 6 UE to burn the disc. It plays in widescreen on my pc using WinDVD, but I have tried playing it in 3 standalone dvd players, and each time it plays the dvd in fullscreen. I have even tried to adjust the settings in each dvd player's menu, with no success.

Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.
