VCD 2.0 playback on computer using Windows Media Player 10

hi all,

sure could use a quick answer here. moved on to DVDs but the Mrs. is now trying to create a school picture VCD for playbackon computer. yep digging back on comptuer files i have ULEAD DVD movie show 1.0. works great. plays back the VCD on a dvd player. and yes even on our home computer IF you use WINDVD. it will not playback in MEDIAPLAYER 10. i need to make sure it can play back in Mediaplayer 10 since that is what the local school uses on its computers.

its been a while, am i just forgetting something? do i need to upgrade to version 3? good product works well just playback is hinderind on mediaplayer 10. yes i downloaded/installed mediaplayer codecs

error msgs is a nice still picture telling me to turn of the PBC. but of course on the computer thats not right.

Media player doesn't support real vcd playback(menus and such). You can play the video .dat files if you open them manually.
