Hi guys...I searched around for this issue but came up with nothing, so I thought I'd ask it in the newbie area because I'm clearly a newbie!
I have two machines, one that I use for everyday tasks and the other for video editing. Recently I upgraded my everyday machine and used the leftover parts to upgrade my video editing machine. I installed Win2k Pro, my Miro drivers and Media Studio Pro 7 and MovieFactory 2. I have hundreds of archived video clips that I captured using the Miro card which is using the Pinnacle DV format. I can read these files via my Windows Media Player. I can import the videos into MovieFactory 2 and view them. I can insert them into Media Studio Pro but if I double-click the video to try and bring it up to my Preview/Source windows I get a "no combination of intermediate filters" error.
Using the same installation setup on my "everyday" machine, I am able to load the files into Media Studio Pro and edit and view properly. So, as a test, I reformatted my video editing machine and installed Windows XP on it instead. And after installing Media Studio Pro I received the same filter issue that I got with Win2k.
Anyone have a clue what may be wrong with this other machine???
