    hello,
    i visited a website recently and it had a few videos that i liked a lot, but the problem is that u can only view them on the website, because it like used some Flash or Macromedia player, so i couldnt do the ol "save link as". could anyone advise how to capture video from websites? thanks

    You could just open the SWF file in your browser, then go to your profile folder such as:

    C:\Documents and Settings\david\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

    .. and copy the SWF files to your desktop or somesuch place.

    That software is only a trial software that costs $40 to register. This software that I found today is free.
