Hi.
I'm having a real problem finding a tool to do this. I can't find anything to quickly rebuild an index on an unfinished or improperly cut mpg file.
I'm trying to rebuild index on mpg or mpeg files, but so far has been unable to find anything that will fix it.
Do you guys have any guides, or tools you would reccomend?

Is it Mpeg1 or Mpeg2 ? One way is to remux the file under Mpeg Tools in TMPGenc.
You can also try Pvastrumento or ProjectX to demux, then remux with TMPGenc. -
Thank you. I will try to do that. Most of these files are mpg1s, but I was talking in general sense, since I have had this problem with a variety of mpegs.
I was looking for a tool in the mold of DivxFix, but for an mpg. I just didn't feel like stripping audio and video again.
I'm running it throug the TMpEnc now to create an alternate file, but I would still like to find a simpler tool for something like this, since this should be a pretty quick problem to resolve.
