  1. Since DVD-R discs have tumbled down to a third of what they were 2 yrs ago (From $3 per disc to less then $1 per disc), why haven't CD-R media prices taken the same direction? shouldn't we be getting like 150 CD's for $30 by now? One can get 50 DVD-R's for 2-3 dollars more then 50 CD-R's. It makes no sense to buy CD-R's anymore unless it is for an audio CD.

    It has not made sense to buy cd's for anything but audio in a long time

    I pick up 100 prodisc hub printable CD-R's for $23.00, there is no way i would pay the prices at places like best buy for 50 cd-r's
