    I have a Video_TS folder, how do I find out if the contents are
    NTSC or PAL?

    Load any VOB file in an application that will show the number of frames per second. 25 fps = PAL; 29.97 fps = NTSC; 23.976 fps = NTSC film.
    Such applications include QuickTime Player, ffmpegX, MPEG Streamclip.

  4. Or you can just highlight the VOB and look at the dimensions:
    640 x 480 = NTSC
    720 x 576 = PAL

    You can just open it in myDVDEdit too and check the IFO info. Select a Title from the list and then select the IFO section and you'll see the TV standard aswell as other info,
