    Amazon has the Ridata DVD+R Double Layer 2.4X (5 pieces) + DVD+RW 4X (1 piece) bundle for on sale for $16.49 after rebate, free shipping $25+.

    Thats $3.30 per disc. Not as good as Verbatum, but I haven't had problems with them (only burned 3 so far though).

    It is very encouraging to hear prices getting lower.
