Hey, i'm trying to convert a video in avi format to dvd and normally there would be no problem with it but this is the first time i've tried converting a video that has subtitles interlaced in the avi file. These subtitles are visible with vobsub or ffdshow but the prog i use to convert avi to DVD doesn't recoginze the subtitles. I was wondering if there is any prog that can make this conversion ( avi to DVD WITH the subtitles) or if there is any way of making the subtitles permanent in order to use the prog i use to convert video.

    Thanks.

Avi to DVD with permanent subtitles, you should get with Nero Vision Express.

The problem remains.... Those progs require a subtitle file and i dont have one, the subtitles are IN the avi file but they are not permanent, they are visible using vobsub or ffdshow.

  5. Demultiplex the subtitles to separate file with VirtualDubMod or avimuxgui.

VirtualDubMod only supports subs in mkv and ogm.
