  1. I recorded a TV show with my Hauppauge WinTV 150 card and when I go to edit it, I've been getting all kinds of weird errors.
I've tried nanoPEG which came with the card and the end of the video is missing in the editor. When I view the MPEG in PowerDVD the whole thing is there.
I tried Womble MPEGtoVCR and it only shows the first 5 minutes of the video then jumps to the very end.

I tried editing another program I recorded and this time I had the middle of the video at the end.

I'm really pulling my hair out - can anyone help???

    Thank you soooooooo much

Your nanoPEG software must be junk. Is your MPEG file greater than 2GB and does nanoPEG handle files greater than 2GB? No? I once used a MPEG editor that could only handle 2GB files. I tried to feed it a 4+GB file. The program trashed my MPEG so badly that it had to be re-encoded. I had to write customer service to find out that they couldn't handle a file that large. Go figure...

  4. As I posted (in that other forum), Hauppauge has updates that fix all this (or should).
I also posted some other suggestions

Cuttermaran works best for me too. It's just the extra time involved in demuxing that's annoying.

  5. Well I guess this is a known issue with WinTV 2000 - I'm gonna try GB-PVR.
Thanks so much for all your input
