Fastest render from Vegas 6 ?

Hi,

for special sport project (filming in morning, than fast editing with following evening presentation on projector) I need choose fastest way, how to render edited movie from Vegas 6 ?

Quality doesn´t matter very much (final DVD version will be rendered later)...

So which format and what else should I set up to get final render very fast with suitable quality for evening projections ?

Render in same format as imported to Vegas

Good point...Vegas will recalculate only changed parts of the imported DV AVI

And what about to use smaller resolution eg. 640x480 instead of 720x576....

Are you just editing or are you adding extensive effects filters?

If editing only leave it DV format. If you want to do extensive effects filtering use VCD format 352x288 to speed renders.

What are you going to do with the finished movie ?

TO GUNS1NGER: Final movie will be for DVD but for this purpose I need the fastest way how to render for evening projector presentation....

Run it back to tape or to disk as DV. By far the quickest.
