  1. Is there any VM command (which I then would use with PCGedit) which presets the button to be selected when entering a VTS Root menu? In other words, I would like that when the Root menu is entered, button number x is pre-selected, so that I just need to press Enter in the Remote control to select button number x. Does a similar command exist?
    It might be useful when e.g. you have sequential clips and, once you have seen clip number x-1 and you return to the menu, you have already button number x pre-selected.

  2. There is a VM command... But I don't know it (for PCGedit).
    You can create a little project with my GUI for dvdauthor (use no Titlesets), and examine the result with PCGedit. GfD uses a precommand for the vmgm menu where the selected button is set to the last used button.

    In dvdauthor language there is a command:
    button=X
    where X is the button number of the pgc multiplied by 1024
