  1. Hey all, I i have an ASUS V9520-X/TD/128 Geforce FX5200 128MB Video card:

    and if you look at the picture close up, the dvi connector is what you call a dvi-d (i think) and from what i understand it can't be converted to vga, which i want so i can run dual vga monitors .

    I have an adapter that looks like this:

    I have also seen some adapters that aren't missing any pins, so now im confused which video card to buy now.

    I suppose i can choose any video card as long as it has a common dvi connector. am i right? please help.
    By the way, i will be using it with an Asus a8v deluxe motherboard.

    DVI-I contains all the pins for both DVI-D (digital) and VGA (analog).
