    I need a DVD/VHS combo that also plays VCD's, anyone know if one exists?

    The Samsung DVD-V1000 plays both vcd and svcd.
    It also plays mp3's.

    Panasonic has TV/DVD/VHS. All in one. If u r in US go and buy that. I saw it at COSTCO(US)

    well the Samsung DVD-V1000 doesn't play VHS, does the TV/DVD/VHS play VCD's, SVCDs ect.? work with me here

    In my own point of view that is a high price $200 for a dvd and $200 for a VCR?? I dont know buying seperate would be cheeper, easyier use (macrovision, ext) and of corse...cheeper! U can get a Sony HI-FI VCR for $99 at walmart.com (or any other store) and get a DVD player for less that $200 either an APEX or Pioneer at best buy or circuit city. Check around
