I have a DVD that had problems with the navigation structure. I used IFOEdit and seemingly fixed the problems. After burning it to a DVD+RW, my Panasonic recorder said it was valid.
To copy it to a DVD-R, I used Encore DVD and burned it as a DVD Folder. However, it is now invalid.
DVD Shrink is OK with the +RW, but not the -R copy.
Any ideas?

I would suggest opening the '+RW' disc in DVDshrink, then backing it up as an ISO image with DVDshrink and burning the image onto DVD-R with DVDdecrypter.
This will probably work for you.
Alternatively you could try using Recordnow Deluxe 7.3 as I hear that this write's DVD folders very well in Data mode.
Just out of interest, does the DVD folder that Encore created, contain a VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folder ? If not then that's probably where your problem lies, because a DVD player needs at least to see a VIDEO_TS folder and sometimes the AUDIO_TS folder as well. -
Better than that make an ISO with DVD decrypter (ISO read) from +RW and burn with it to -R (ISO write)
