  5. sorry to bother u guys again, the files i need make onto dvd are .ogg files, not .ogm.

these are my steps so far...
    1) Convert .ogg to .avi using https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=241422
    2) By using this i get 2 files that need to be with each other to work, video.avi and video.srt
    3) This is where i get stuck, i dont kno how to make the 2 into one file. If it is in one file, then i can get it onto Dvd. But when its in 2 files, i cant get it onto dvd with subtitles ><

If you use VirtualDubMod then they are ogm's and not ogg's.

When ogm first went public people were even using .avi as an extension. Naming an ogm an avi doesn't make it an avi just as naming an ogm .ogg doesn't make it a true ogg file. If you can open it with VDubMod then it is an ogm file.

For converting ogg theora files you could load via dshow using Radlight or illuminable's filters or use mplayer or ffmpeg. mplayer/ffmpeg would need to be compiled with theora, vorbis, etc. enabled.

Not sure if it is possible to extract theora from an ogg to avi. But you should at least be able to extract the audio.
