Virtualdub Conversion Looks The Same?

When I try to convert to DivX on the virtualdub and look at the preveiw the pictures look the same, and it says projected file size like 58 gig or 5.8 gig, either way, how can I get it to work for converting to DivX?

Hi

If you are loading a uncompressed avi, both windows will look the same. the right window will only change when you might select a filter.

When you save you need to select Video > Compression, then select a DivX codec. Now when you Save AVI it will save the avi compressed using the codec you selected.
