I use Isobuster to extract the MPEGs from the BIN files. (Assuming MPEGs)

Then, it depends on what format they are, say VCD or SVCD. You can look to the 'Guides' to the left for conversion to DVD compliant MPEG-2.

Audio is the same, some conversion will probably be necessary. You can run the MPEGs through AVIcodec or Gspot to see what format the audio and video are.

Then you author and burn them. The authoring program can join the files.

There are some all-in-one programs that may work also. You still usually need to extract the video from the BIN files.

  4. What redwudz and iooi said is general and can be applied to all cases. However, if your DVD player supports playback of MPEG2ISO, then all you simply need to do is extract the video using Isobuster and then burn both mpg's onto a DVD+-R. That's it...no conversion!

You can check to see if your DVD player supports this feature by looking for DVD-MPEG2ISO support in the DVD players list. However, this feature is quite uncommon so if you are fortunate enough to have a DVD player that supports this feature, don't expect that you'll be able to take the disc over to a friend's house to play it. The chances are slim and you might have a worthless disc.

Converting it to DVD Video, while a much longer process, ensures universal compatibility in all DVD players.

    1. Extract Files, if applicable.
    2. VCDGear for cue/bin to MPeg
    3. TMPGenc Plus to DVD format
    4. TMPGenc DVD Author (TDA) to join the 2 halves and then create VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders.
    5. TDA will then open up burner.

    Here is another one

    1. Extract from bin/cue with ISO Buster or VCD Gear
    2. VSO DIVX to DVD the resulting .MPG (Will only process one file at a time with this file type AFAIK)
    3. ReJig to demux audio and video and then ReJig to author your fully compliant DVD.

The need for the ReJig is VSO will leave you only .VOB's and no .IFO or .BUP or (0) numbered .VOB's, just the data streams when it processes .MPG files (this is called "elementary streams???")

This produces a totally DVD compliant file and is fairly easy once you learn the procedure.

  7. I, myself, do as redwudz said. There is a guide for this purpose using Isobuster on this site for VCD, SVCD. Then, I use TMPGEnc Plus to join the mpg files; I believe TMPGEnc will also do this and many other programs, as well. Never had to mess with the Audio yet but haven't done too many conversions. Probably don't know enough to know I need to.
