I recently purchased a Panasonic VDR-M50PP DVD camera and I am having a bit of a problem with the video. I copied the files from the DVD-RAM which are VRO files. I am trying to copy them over to a regular dvd-r but I am running into a couple of problems. I have used TMPEGenc DVD Author 1.5 to convert the files to VOBs and then burn to dvd. That works fine but when I play it in a standalone player, the dvd pauses for about a second or so everytime it changes chaptor scenes which is really annoying. I have also tried taking out the chapter points, but that doesn't help. I have tried converting it using the progam that came with the camera, MySonic DVD. That works and the chapters don't freeze, however, the video quality really sucks bad becuase it converts the VROs to MPEG then back to VOBs. I have tried using Ulead Movie Factory 3 and I get the same results as from MySonic. Has anyone had this problem before?
