    What is a good Free Web host without pop ups and that other junk?

    looking for a something better than Geocities and that will accept CSS.

    I use www.forumer.com Its pretty good and does php. BUT you can't modify it. That's the price of free. But no pop ups just a standard google ad.

    well, I don't know what CSS is (and I'm too lazy to google right now) but I use spymac.com for my free hosting needs.

    CSS is Cascading Style Sheets, which basically allows you to tweak the hell out of the appearance of the text content.

    www.brinkster.com allows it. Very little ad overhead.
