Removing VCD copy protection

Hi,

I purchased a VCD which was copy-protected and will not play in the Computer. I wish have a copy of it to keep the original safe. The copy protection is easily visible in the form of unwritten tracks like a ring in the CD data layer.

I tried using Clone CD but failed. Any tweaking method in Clone CD or any of software? Can anybody help me out?

try use isobuster and rip just the .dat

doesn't sound right even if its copyrighted it should play in the computer
