I havent used video studio 7 in a while, I am pretty sure i didnt have this problem before. But for some reason when i try to capture now. It only captures at 320x240. I have gone to the PROJECT PROPERTIES and set it to AVI 720x480 @ 29.97 fps.. i go to capture. i set the capture format to AVI .. my VCR is connected to PC via a DAZZLE.. but when i do a test run. The video i capture comes out in AVI format like it should, but its in 320x240.. what would have altered this??

Which standards will the Dazzle support in realtime?

Try using the VS7 presets "VCD 352x240 MPeg1 (start here)", "DVD 720x480 MPeg2".

You will need a fast computer for realtime capture to MPeg2 and even faster for analog to DV capture from a VCR.
