    is a video with 352x240 size and 192 audio, with xvid codec a decent way to re encode?


    i use virtualdub mod to re encode videos with filters:

    resize to 352x240
    cropped to fullscreen
    with deinterlaced both fields

    and decode audio to 192 lame mp3 with using the XviD codec

    It all depends on what you want to do with the video when it is done and what quality you are expecting!
