  2. You should give VCDImager (TSCV) a try.

  3. Yeah, TSCV will fill all your needs. Tho it has a bit of a learning curve. And it still has some bugs.

  4. Most (note not all) of the bugs have been fixed in the newest verison (d/load at http://www.doom9.org ) and there's a really good guide for using TSCV at:

    http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/r/d/rdm186/

The newest verison comes with the CDI files, VCDImager, and CDRDAO bundled so it's MUCH easier to use then the eariler verisons. You'll also need/want TMPGenc to make still/motion menus.

  6. Good as TSCV may be, to get a true understanding of how VCD works (and thus make VCDs at the furtherst possible limits) I suggest that you try using VCDImager and coding your XML by hand: http://www.geocities.com/medinotes/vcd

  7. It's true that to do everything you should learn how to write your oen XML script files. But if you learn/know XML and use TSCV as a 'script generator' it's still a time saver!

Plus it's nice/easy to make motion/still menus with TSCV. Another choice is Uleads DVD Movie Factory (IIRC ~$50). However you're forced to use Uleads templates and from the reports online you can neither create nor edit the templates.
