  1. Hi
I have just installed DVD Player using Pacifist. As when i installed 10.2.8 i didn't have a DVD Burner...Now i have an NEC 3520A..
DVD Player starts up but shows an Error Message "(-70013) The current machine or system configuration is not supported"....
    What is this error message?
Is it my Video Card which is from the original G3 Beige....
    I have a G3 Beige with a G4 533Mhz upgrade chip....768Mb Memory.... ....16X NEC DVD Burner using Patch Burn...
    Any suggestions..

  3. You May want to upgrade your video card. VLC is hard on your cpu if you don't have much video ram. I think the beige only has 2mb stock, upgradeable to 4mb, if I remember correctly. Check out the ati 9200 at http://eshop.macsales.com/item/ATI%20Technologies/100436011/ . You can get a flashed ati 7000 cheaper on ebay (make sure it's pci). http://search.ebay.com/mac-pci-radeon_W0QQfrppZ50QQfsopZ1QQmaxrecordsreturnedZ300 You need at least a ati rage 128 to get on card support for apples dvd player program.
