Newbie here. I want to burn a backup of my movie with all the features, Blade Trinity. Now I'm planning on going to the store later and buying a dual layer dvd blank. I have the Pioneer dvr109 and Benq 1620 Pro. So my question is, if I use DVD Decrypter, when I choose to rip and record, will Decrypter tell me turn the dvd over? and when I want to play on my dvd player, how would I know when to turn it over? Will it show me or would the movie just stop and then I would have to flip over. Thanks for any help.

Is Blade Trinity on a flipper disc or a dual layer disc?

A dual layer disc has two layers on the same side of the disc ... no flipping required. A flipper disc has either one or two layers per side.

Most movie titles use single sided discs. Quite a few episodic TV series use flipper discs (my experience ... YMMV).

No it's not. You are correct. So is it possible without shrinking to backup my movie as a one to one copy? I thought using the dvd recorder that I buy dual layer blank and that I would have to flip it to archieve a one to one copy. Sorry i'm still tring to learn.

Also thanks lordsmurf but I wouldn't know what to search for? I tried dual layer and too many results.

The easiest way IMO is to use DVDDecrypter in ISO READ mode (guide here) / then ISO WRITE mode (guide here).
    If in doubt, Google it.
