  1. whats the best way to create good looking scrolling credits with the use of freeware or with Ulead Video Studio 8, Arcsoft ShowbizDVD 2, and Tmpgenc? Im trying to finish my presentation for AP us history and wanted to keep the whole professional thing going till the end.

    For free, WMM2 does a nice job. I like the ease of data entry. Make sure you set DV-AVI for project and export file.

    I never tried credit role in VS8. For credit roll, I like Premiere better than Vegas.

    Sometime I create them in photoshop as one long graphic file, then just move it in the editor (Vegas)

    If you have a lot of money you can buy Boris Red which is one of the greatest applications for this, even though as I said; expensive and a bit difficult.

  5. If I import the Photoshop file into Vegas, how do I get it to scroll. I did it once a while ago, but can't remember.

    Another question. Does anyone know any good video creation software as opposed to editing? Eg. if I were to create a cartoon, or special type of animated menu/credits.

    Thanks

    -You can animate the text with Pan/Crop, moving the screen or the text file.

    -Video Creation Software to animate menu/Credits:
    1)Sony Vegas;
    2)Boris Red;
    3)Wild FX Pro (amazing application to animate text; not expensive at all)
    -For Creating a Cartoon:
    1)Flash;
    2)Mojo (?)

    There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
