  1. Was I the only one whose heart skipped a beat after launching this update for the first time and seeing there was no Open Video TS Folder menu item?

You can still do it, but now it's called Open DVD media. Scared me at first.

  3. Is v4.6 only part of tiger? I'm still on 10.3.9 and it is v4.0.

  4. It's a recent update for the Tiger DVD Player.

  5. Another "update" is that DVD player will no longer open VIDEO_TS folders called something else, like IMAGE or BACKUP.

    Annoying for checking pre-DTOX rips....

actually one cool ass thing it'll do now, is let you drag video ts folder right to the icon to launch dvd player. or you can use automator to set up an action and save it as a finder plug in and then just ctrl click on the video ts folder to launch dvd player.

  7. I also noticed that you don't have to quit dvd player to close the current movie and open another movie. In the previous version (in panther) doing this would crash the player, on my machine anyway.

  8. Also new: Under the Help menu you can select "Show Suported Features" in order to see what your video card's Core Image support is.
