Goes under coffee cup to prevent stains.
Plastic circular ones with hole in middle are easy to find. -
A failed burn (error during recording). If a disc burns successfully, but has playback problems, is unreadable, etc. it could also be considered a coaster.
To sum it up, a wasted disc (of which the only use for, is as a coaster, hence the term).Some people say dog is mans best friend. I say that man is dog's best slave... At least that is what my dogs think. -

Coaster
An authored disc that won't play, either due to improper authoring, poor media quality, or write error. The name is derived from the disc's uselessness as a DVD/VCD, may as well be used to set drinks on.If in doubt, Google it.
