    Not sure if this is in the right section...

    How do i transfer a recorded program from a DVR to a DVD? I need to at least know how to transfer the content from the DVR to PC.

    note: i am doing this for a friend to make a dvd for him, and it's his DVR. Therefore, i don't know much about the DVR itself.

    a desktop dvr recorder? can you connect it to the computer? can it record on dvd media?
