I have looked through the forums and i have not seen a question as specific as mine is so i hope it has not already been answered....I have multiple video files, some avi some mpeg and so on....i have been using dvd santa to convert the files to dvd format for burning but when i select which files to convert, the converted files can either be too big or way too small for the dvd....is there a program that will tell me before i waste a ton of time converting if the converted files will fit on a standard dvd? i also have problems with certain mpeg files, they cannot be converted using dvd santa and the only way to convert them as far as i've found is to convert them to avi and then through dvd santa, is there an easier process especially since converting the certain files to avi has to be done individually to convert all files to dvd without this long hassle....any help would be greatfully appreciated thanks
Rob

If you use VSO DivxToDVD, you can add as many files as you want (within reason) and the app will make certain they will fit on a single 4.7GB DVD.
A good rule - Don't add more than 2.5 hours of footage to a DVD. You can go higher, but quality will begin to suffer.
