Hi All, I have just converted an avi movie with ac3 sound using svcd2dvd RC9b and a wierd thing has happened. During the avi2mpeg part of the coversion an mpeg of 4.03GB was created, as expected. When coversion was complete the finished dvd vobs/ifo files were only half size, the mpeg also ended up at only 1.7GB. Out of curiosity ( dvd-r's are cheap anyway ) I burnt the DVD and played it. The finished DVD was only showing as 45 mins in length and was exactly that, 45 mins, ie half the movie. Oddly at the end of this half-movie the dvd didn't end, just went to freeze-frame, and the sound continued. I had converted using pull-down, widescreen and normal tv setting, and opted for mpeg-audio. During the processing I had clicked the settings button, just to check something, this may have caused this anomoly? I haven't retried because I delete the original avi's straight after i have converted and burnt.
