  1. Ok, I have a few problems here. First of all just viewing this mpg on my pc, it is choppy, or stuttering, (not sure of the term you use) and the audio is out of sync with the video. Second, I tried to burn it to a vcd, but no luck there either, because it told me I needed to use a MPEG encoder that supports Video CD encoding. Well now, ..... I will be totally honest with you all, take my username for instance, "Nugrl", I am new to all of this, and did not realize how involved all of this really is. so I don't know what I need or what programs, or codecs or encoders, that I need to make it work. I have searched thru the forums, reading alot of different posts, but unless you actually know what some of these things are, it is almost like telling someone to look up a word in the dictionary to see how to spell it. If ya know what I mean. Maybe I'm just stupid, I don't know, but I sure would appreciate some help. Thanks in advance! : )

  2. for creating vcds, i follow this: record the video to avi format at 352 X 240 ( i use videowave 4.0), encode it using tmpgenc using the vcd template, then use Nero Burning Rom using VCD preset (it provides menu creation as well). This site has a lot of details about these steps.
