Ripping Problem

Hi,

I'm using DVD Decrypter to rip a movie DVD to my hard disk.

It has all ripped ok except for the last 1% of the 2nd (of 5) VOB file VTS_01_1.vob. I've retried ripping this file several times each after careful cleaning with rubbing alchohol and have set both 'software retries' and 'hardware retries' to their max. It always stops at the same point which is with just approx. 5MB remaining to copy.

Can anyone suggest what I could try to do next? Is there another ripping tool that may help?

Try smartripper.
Try a different DVD Drive.

Smartripper won't recognize the DVD at all, strange cos DVD Decrypter had no propblems listing the DVD's files, just wouldn't rip the last bit of 1 VOB.

Are you sure your programs are up to date? How are you ripping it ? In file mode or iso? I would recommend you rip in file if youre not. Thats what works best for me. Good luck
