  1. I have an MPEG1 file that I can't burn to video -- The problem is that it says it's "0" length, though it takes up 50+ mb on my computer and plays perfectly well through Winamp and windows media player, like any other MPG file. However, I can't convert it to anything else using TMPGEnc or EO Video, etc., nor can I burn it to VCD/DVD because of the "0" length problem. However, it will burn to audio. Can anyone give me ANY advice on what I can do to "fix" this file, or is it simply screwed up and whoever ripped it to begin with needs to redo it? Please help! If you need any more info on the file, just let me know.

    Thanks in advance,
    Carla

Sounds like a header issue to me.

Maybe try reinserting the sequence headers in TMPGEnc's MPEG Tools - Link here, or just try a simple demultixplex then a simple multiplex. Make you you set the "type of file" setting to match whatever your file is.

Either that or try some of the tools listed in the Tools section under "Video Repair/Fix" - Link here.
    If in doubt, Google it.
