  1. Do you guys know any good message boards that have at least more than 10,000 user for a apache server?

Anyways, If you guys can help me out for those who know apache server for windows XP, then here is my problem:

Ok, I have a few problems that i need to let you guys know.

As i see it, I'm using Apache server on windows XP (WinLamp).

    First:

When I view task manager, I notice that there are 2 apache proesses running. Is that normal?

    Second:

Next, When i access my web page through a url, I'm getting a error and it says " unable to connect", I dont know why it does this.

    Third:

When i restart apache, it somethings comes up with a window saying, that the port is taken; which in fact its not. I just gave it a new port number that i know for sure its not being used. (Port: 5100)

anyways, Im using dynDNS.org for my services because of my dynamic IP. THen because i dont have
a port 80, I had to use a webhop (that dynDNS.org offers) with my port 5100. Every day when i turn off the computer and then turn it back on, I seem to have this problem.

    Please help, thanks

  2. Are you on a home network using a router as a DHCP server that assigns an IP address when machines boot up and logon to the network? Maybe you should assign a static IP to your Apache machine.
