I no longer need or have ever used my A: dirve, what can I do with that slot? Is there anything cool that can go there? What have you done with your A: drive if anything?

You can mount a plate in front of it to block the hole when you remove your floppy drive and use the brackets to mount a hard drive. Or you could mount a bay bus or fan controller there. Lots of options really.

Two things that might be useful; A digital card reader if you have a digital camera, or a front mounted USB, Firewire connection panel.

Or the old standby, the blank 3.5 panel that came with your PC case?
I must have ten of those suckers in my junk box.

I didn't put a floppy in the last two computers I assembled. With a USB flash drive, not much use. I do have a portable USB floppy drive that came with my laptop just in case I ever need to use that type of media again.

DOS floppy = safest way to flash (bois, video card, burner).

I suppose you could set up a DOS USB... never tired it though.

I haven't seen any small fan controllers, everyone I saw was 5 1/2 inch, the size of a CD drive.
    Thanks Mike

    Ash tray maybe?

    Cup holder?

Leave the slot open and deposit your loose change in there.
